Adult Forum: The Discipleship Bible Study is from a resource book entitled Transforming Bible Studies: Ancient and Modern Methods for Individuals and Small Groups written by Greg Jones and released from the Diocese of NC. This particular bible study is aimed specifically at gaining a closer relationship with Jesus Christ through engagement with scripture. Passages will be primarily from Luke, John, Acts, and Romans. Each week has a different focus: Following Christ, Trusting Christ, Listening to Christ, Talking with Christ, Joining with Christ, Imitating Christ, and Serving Christ. Anne Newber will facilitate these sessions. Materials will be provided.
The Adult Forum will continue with the Living the
Questions DVD series later in the year.
